Sorry for the basic questions but I don’t use Linux that much. Any further ideas are appreciated. Would the proper procedure be to delete everything in the multipath. Email Required, but never shown. We do still have mulyipath within our department, but not active in my particular area. Here’s what i have: Also, is the order of the sde, sdd shown on Host1’s multipath -ll wrong and need to be corrected somehow?
I am relatively new to Xen as I have been using mainly Hyper-v. Click on the “Configure” button and then the “New Interface” button. Did you check if the multipath daemon is running properly do a “ps -ed grep multip” and you should see a task running or “service multipathd status” should mulipath it is running?

The problem I’m running into is the MDf is randomly switching from it’s preferred controller 0 to controller 1. Answered MDi multipathing and preferred paths Asked by maxeler.
They go to two separate switches which intern each go to the two controllers on our MD Array. We are working on a fix. Is there some way, maybe in the multipath. I have attached my multipath. For each host under the “Network” tab, choose “Properties” and under “Network Settings” for each of the two networks, uncheck the box “Automatically add this network to new virtual machines”.
Was that correct to delete everything and just past what multipaht posted in brackets, indcluding the brackets them self, or should that get placed in a certain area of the original multipath. It should be using controller 0 completely unless it fails, then use controller 1 at that point.
